The Sales and Installation Teams at Burton Carpet Shoppe are well trained in the latest methods and fashions. Mike and Carrie pride themselves on the crews that they have assembled to meet all of your flooring needs. Our installers have over 100 years of combined experience in carpet, vinyl, hardwood, laminate and ceramic installation. Mike is the installation foreman and has personally trained our installation staff. Our installers attend a variety of classes and workshops to utilize the latest tools and technology. Carrie leads our sales team and shares with her staff the latest trends and styles that she acquires from industry trade shows and top flooring designers. Carrie and her staff will assist you with selection, measuring, quoting and scheduling your new floor!
A Little Bit About Us…
Mike Giel – Mike began installing full-time for BCS over 44 years ago. Mike and his wife, Carrie, purchased the business from his family in 2001. Mike is a certified vinyl installer and leads his installation team in both residential and commercial carpeting, hardwood, vinyl, laminates, vinyl planks, waterproof flooring and many others – need a special installation? RV or boat? Mike can do that too!
Carrie Giel – Carrie joined BCS in 1996. Carrie is involved in all aspects of BCS; including residential and commercial projects, in-home consultations, measuring, and estimating. Carrie’s experience with design and color will make your new floor the perfect update to your home. Call on Carrie to help design your next project!

Jaime Lawson – Jaime is Carrie and Mike’s daughter, and leads our sales team. Jaime’s best asset is listening to what you need, so that you pick the perfect floors for your home that are fashionable and durable. Come see Jaime in our showroom!
Jason Heiden – Jason is Carrie and Mike’s son and installs in both residential & commercial applications. He has over 30 years of installation experience and is a certified vinyl installer. Jason combines his knowledge of all flooring installation with great customer service and attention to detail. He leads his installation team, and can install hardwood, vinyl, vinyl plank, waterproof flooring, laminate and carpeting.
